Try General Grabber AT2's, for the price you can't beat them @ $165.00 each. Greatest tire I've had by far. May be better out there but I can't say as I've only had Nitto Terra Grapplers and Pro-Comps.

Anyone have some fuel economy data with the 235's?

I have been running 235's for about 20k miles now. I have 2.5" lift in front and 2" in rear. I get between 20-22mpg. Most of my driving is between 70-75 mph though. When I keep the truck at or below 65mph I average 23mpg. Anything over 75mph and my mileage drops to about 17mpgimage.jpg

Does your truck have a lift? Do these tires rub at all?

Now the real question to the OP is...

Do you still have these tires and are you still happy with them?

How's the ride? People say that 10ply can be rough. Current work truck is F250 flat bed with the 235's and I don't think it rides all that bad nor rough... (Apples to Oranges)

My Dunlops AT20 have been good to me for the last 40k miles. Winter is approaching and I've been procrastinating with a new tire purchase. I'm seriously considering the 235 route rather than the 265 for the Tacoma.

Yep, still got em. They are tough, rugged tires for sure. They do their job in any condition, and look good too.

    Happy thanksgiving!

So I scored a set of 2018 TRD OR front springs and all four shocks for a sweet sweet deal.

Only 5 miles on them, and I have a 2015 OR front sway coming my way.

The goal is to greatly improve the ride and turns out my front end may get lifted 1” or higher.

Afterwards I am really leaning towards the KO2s in 235 format. I know they are going to weigh a bit more than my current 4-ply Hankooks but I really want the tall skinny!

My question is what’s worth more? Staying as close as possible to stock diameter or reducing unsprung wheel/tire weight.

I would think the best of both worlds would be a 265/70/R16 to be stock diameter but what happens when your stock diameter and you get a KO2 which weighs in at 50lbs each?

How bad is throttle response going to go down? Should I still see decent mileage when cruising and not pulling hills and such?

What do you 4-cyl folks think?

so i went to 235/85/16 ko2s on my 4cyl truck.

i definitely feel the extra weight going up hill on interstates at speed. i have to drop down to 4th gear to stay cruising at 75mph up the incline. around town driving i dont really noticed the extra weight that much.

mileage seems to be pretty similar.

Still running those 235s with white letters out?

    Post up some pics man.

I recently had a chance to run some 265 KM2s on stock OR rims and was pleasantly surprised in the way my truck handled the weight, (4cyl, 5-spd) During acceleration and everything else it wasn’t so bad and I could hardly tell a difference however total fuel economy dropped like 1-2 mpg.

So I have acquired a full set of black spare tire steelies, and I’m really itching to go after some 235 KO2S and put them on my truck.
