@EatSleepTacos so took pops to Peters Mill on Thursday. He was blown away by the capability of the truck. He's raced cars and stuff for decades and never been off roading. It was really cool to see him enjoy it so much even though it's a mild trail.

Funny though, I didn't bring my hatchet considering that trail is maintained. And near the end (going south) a new tree must have just fallen but it was all of it's smaller branches blocking half the trail. So we got out snapped a bunch of branches and then I had him hold the bigger branch off to the side with all his old man strength and I gunned it through with the taco. And it was on that part that's almost cliff like. Funny shit. But such a good time. Also the trail had way more water than I have ever seen it.

 

Not yet. I'm finishing up a few other things first.. what kind did you get?

 

HornBlasters Outlaw, Viair 2.5 gallon tank, paired with my arb twin compressor.

Its a 3 trumpet horn. Sounds like a boat horn more, but that's my opinion

 

Started tacking the bumper together yesterday evening. The real fun part comes today with the side wings, hoops and all the blending.

Whatever you do K.I.S.S. and practice with what you carry. 8/10 times you can handle most things w/ minimal equipment, but have something to stop bleeding and at least 1 large dressing to cover larger wounds.

Lake accotink has confirmed snakehead, and lower parts of occoquan and potomac have confirmed as well.

 

if you get on the Potomac... Pomonkey, Little Hunting and Dogue Creeks have a bunch.

 

You should try kayaking in the potomac, once you get over the first battle w/ giardia it's a cake walk

 

Ok, long trip, but succeesful! All items picked up from @jrthis morning, stopped @Casper66 in Culpeper, met @Rome604 in Fairfax with @ilubtimmyhos radio, just got home. Great day to drive around the state w/ the windows down!

I have many times. I loved the time i went with the wife from Georgetown waterfront in a tandem kayak and we go down with the tide for about half hour and she said that’s her mid way point and wanted to turn back. That was fun paddling both of us against the tide

Edit: I’ve also seen a dead body in the tidal basin around 2004
