dnx7140 - 2005 db cab - install help

    New DIY installer needs help hooking up kenwood dnx7140

    -bought scosche kit and connected wiring harness ok
    where do i connect the following wires: (notes are from kenwood install manual)
    --mute wire (brown): connect to the terminal that is grounded when either the telephone rings or during conversation?
    --relay1 (blue/red) to relay box?
    --relay2 (blue/red) to relay box?

    Debadged tailgate - Limo tinted windows - Sockmonkey bed decals - Fully custom upgraded stereo 9 speakers w/custom built subwoofer box 1200 watts total power - swapped white and blue LED gauges - integrated backup camera - removed front mud flaps - All interior lights swapped with LEDS
    I just installed this exact stereo in my buddy's sierra not too long ago.

    I think the brown wire is for a hardwired phone. like one of the old handset corded style phones that nobody on earth uses anymore.

    And the relay wires are for any kind of accessory you want to trigger from the deck ie. lighting in cab an amp pretty much anything its just an auxiliary on signal.

    In short you don't need em tape em up tuck them away and forget about them
