Anybody know where you can buy just the aluminum slab nut (not sure if that's the official name of it) from this photo (slides into the bed rail): 2dliqub_42ed948a0759e0a6a487bb21ad40d5a2fb620c6c.jpg
I suppose I could buy some 1" wide 3/8 thick aluminum bar stock somewhere and cut to length and thread it, but if there are ready-made slab nuts in the right size for sale, that would be easier.

The spring on a spring nut pulls right off. And the side opposite the spring on a spring but has two grooves, one on each end, that has teeth that bite into the channel they’re being tightened to so it won’t slip or move. They’re incredibly reliable which is why almost everyone in the construction industry uses them. A standard spring nut probably won’t fit the way it’s supposed to in the bed rail however

Im currently using the ones I linked to from Home Depot and they work great. I trimmed the spring and the slide in from the front. Similar, but not as good as the Hondo nuts.
