Hello all I have a 04 Tacoma 2.7l, and started off about 2 months ago making a small ticking noise and gradually getting louder to like a rattling noise at all times but gets loud when accelerating. Well before I dig into the timing chain. I took my air box off and hooked up a shop vac to the tale pipe to send air through so I could spray soapy water to see the air bubbles.. well I have 3-4 small leaks 1 on the EGR port where it hooks to the header, 1 on the weld of the header by the block and one where the header clamps to the exhaust. Could this make such a loud noise???
