Well this thread convinced me to drop $20 on Amber bulbs for my fogs. If I like them enough I'll grab the KC G4s in amber.

I'd have a very hard time justifying to myself spending $300 for a set of KC G4s (apparently made from unobtainium) when for less than $20 you can get a pair of Nokya NOK7618 Hyper Yellow bulbs. YMMV.

Those are what I just bought, I'll let you know how they are. Odd that I bought them through prime literally a few hours ago and now they are not prime eligible.

I can say that the kc's have a much better light coverage area then the stock lights.

I went with hella h11 55w yellow halogen bulbs and they work and look great. They were less than $20 for a pair and took just a few minutes to install.

Completed an LED upgrade with amber fogs so i thought i would share my conversion details and a brief review. After 2 weeks in service can report no strobing or vibration issues. However the decoders did not click & lock on the OEM to decoder connection so i had to tape them up. I emailed Hakari just to let them know so future customers are not surprised and they refunded me for the decoders without me asking. Pretty Solid.

Used Hakari 9600 lumen 6K cool white LED's with decoders and 2800 lumen 3K amber fog lights ....total cost .........wait for it........................$100 CDN !
