Nothing crazy but I need to brag up my “little” 7 year old’s day at the range today. He listened so damn well and has learned to respect firearms and safety. Got him a Savage Mark II .22 this year for Christmas and hope to take him deer hunting this fall/winter. He shot well and listened to me all day. His first grouping at 50 yards was solid except 1 shot that he pushed. He ended up consistently hitting 6” diameter groups at 100 yards.

    Proud dad today.

That is so awesome man! I'm so happy to see these pictures, because I'm this close to that myself. Lets see the Savage!

I can't wait till my son is ready. He'll be 6 in June and still doesn't have quite the focus I'd like to see to take him. I've decided his first .22 will be a CZ 455. Possibly a Scout. I like the short LOP and the ability to change caliber's and stocks. Nice heirloom rifle I think.

My daughter turned four last Friday, she too will get some range time.
