    I ordered one for myself with front and rear for Christmas. It got lost in the mail. So, I had credit, but that one was no longer available.
    I ordered a different one that had front and rear, and recorded real well out the back windows! It also had a GPS feature, and would store those map software routes! But that was a prototype! And it would not deal with the maps in real life, and they had like ZERO support. I got Amazon support, who said I should not have a "prototype", so I returned that. Too bad, it was good, but no confidence in it.

    The one linked above does good front video, but the rear cam is mostly suitable for Uber drivers. But, you would record someone rear ending you.

    My advise to start, is go get one with good specs for $25 at Wal-Mart, and get an idea of what you would get. I know some people have cheap cameras wired front and back. I would really like the front to have that GPS and map feature when I upgrade,

    I've had a couple over the years.

    Key Features I like about this:
    - Good field of view without "fish eye" distortion
    - seperate video files for front/rear cameras
    - good video clarity at night/low light scenarios
    - clear audio, microphone is only on the front camera but the audio file is copied to both front and rear videos
    - Uses a super capacitor instead of a battery so it holds up to the south texas heat much better than others I have used.

    This all started after watching dash cam compilations and have seen the split camera setup and the "uber" style. Both work well. idk where I would mount a split camera as well

    Well, the second one would just go on the back window. I got some cables and switches to eventually wire cut up USB power cords, and run them all in the roof panel. That second camera did a great job of rear recording in a single unit, but in my experience in the threads, not many work that well. And I don't want to spend a fortune either.

    FYI - this was the second one - not available either, but I liked the spec for the price.

    I've been looking for a dash cam that has an always on rear view capability. Since I have the GFC, the standard rear view shows the front panel of the GFC.

    There aren't too many options but there is this one:.

    I swear I saw one that was "wireless" for the rear to front - Bluetooth possibly - but you had to power it, which should be hard. Could probably mount to an arm on those soft toppers braces. I know there is power back there. EDIT SHOULD NOT BE HARD TO FIND POWER.
