Hey guys, today I received all my parts for my new headlight retrofit. I botched the BHLM on my oem housings and it's time they get replaced. Being somewhat cheap and wanting unscratched housing, I chose to get new depo housings.

Question is, what is the bake time to open these up? Just like oem or something different?

Not to be a Debbie Downer, BUT. I had a set of Depo lights and within 1 year the coating on the clear lens started to peel. I park my truck in the garage at night and in a parking structure during the day. Just wanted to give you a heads up before you put the time and effort into those lights. For what it's worth.

I usually do 5 min intervals at 275°. If it isn't soft enough then another 5 minutes and so on.

I would suggest using OEM housing. Less than 2 years old, my depo’s clear coat is peeling and dtrl lense starting to melt..57002BC6-CB0A-4D6A-84A4-8A8579FE4862.jpg77966CD3-EE65-40BA-A0E5-1CAC62B423FE.jpg
