    Check out SOS Concepts - just a quick drive south and good prices to boot

    @SOS CONCEPTS

    You will find a ton more support from Eddy than Bud Built (not saying Bud doesn’t make good stuff, but they are less active in the community).

    So, out of curiosity. Do the Toyota accessory predator steps make passable rock sliders, or will they bend to hell the first time they meet a rock? My truck came with the predator steps

    No they are not rock sliders. The steps will jump off or bend at the first hit. They also bolt to the body rocker panel. Real slider bolt or weld to the frame

    I put a set of Bud Built sliders on my 2018. Great sliders, very robust. Good company to deal with.

    Unless you are buying them from a local-ish 4x4 store the shipping will be a real deal killer.

    That being said I bought some all pro bolt ons because I like the way they looked on a few trucks I've seen but I DO NOT recommend them. There was a lot of drilling involved (5 holes on the pass side, 4 on the drivers because the gas tank blocks the rear most location) & you have to fab up some brake line relocation tabs.
    It wasn't hard to do but it was a pita and more time than I wanted to spend on it.
    Also driving on a fire road the other day they are banging against the pinch welds.....which sucks because I do not want to take them off!

    A lot of the sliders require/ recommend notching the pinch weld for clearance

    Shit, that's a bit of a pita now. All the more reason to get weld-on. This wasn't an issue on the home made weld on ones a buddy make for my pathy. With the bolt on you have no choice, it has to go on one way otherwise the holes don't line up.
