1995.5 Tacomas only - how many are still out there

Shes a little rough around the edges but believe me she beautiful underneath. Its a 2.7 3rz with 275,000 5speed manual runs 100% mint

 

i have a question for those with the Sunroofs

do you also have a dome light somewhere in the middle on the ceiling or just the map lights by the rear view mirror?
any pics of the ceiling and sunroof?

 

Are there 95s with individual map lights?
I just have a dome light on the mirror base.

 

My 1995.5 SR5 is still ticking, though rust has eaten around the top of the windshield, rockers, and rear wheel arches. And my truck has both, a dome light just behind the sunroof and map lights above the rear view mirror.

those were stock in 95.5

has your tailgate survived?
i have seen maybe worse in my area
rotted holes through the bed. totally missing half the floor under drivers side
and they still want $5k for it (used dealer)

 

I got my bed lined when I bought it, which is probably the only thing holding it together. I had to take the tailgate apart and clean everything to restore its ability to be slammed it closed, other than that its not rusted up at all.

 

maybe find some used SR5 seats from a totalled scrapped truck and get them re-upholstered?
I don't know if they are available OEM brand new anymore or not, ...scared to know what the price is if they are!

 

I was looking at having my 4runner seats that I installed in my tacoma completely redone and was given a price of 800 each, So got the Corbeau instead

 

wow $800 each, I shall continue to enforce the 'No eating, covered-drink only policy' in mine

not sure how the seller is listing it as SR5 when it clearly is not and is also missing many original features I think
its getting very close to what the MSRP was in '96












never seen an SR5 without a digital clock or tach !!

Reg cabs did not have an SR5 option,
This truck looks to have 1 or 2 factory upgrades, a few aftermarket upgrades.
It says it has cruise control, but I don’t see the module for it so who who’s if it has AC too, says leather steering wheel too, haha NOT

 

the seller must be ignorant then

 

Actually there are 1 or 2 dealer upgrades on this truck that I see, haha,

 

i think it may have also been re-painted
missing the vin tag on the hood but the doors and fender still have them


I will be shaking my head if this gets anywhere near the price of yours was originally and not even a 3.4!

were these supposed to have a heat shield pad under the hood?
I know yours doesn't because of the scoop

 

Mine came with one originally and I have a new one in the box that I’m going to install one day and cut around the scoop section.
But my truck came with ALOT of options back in 1997 part of the SX package, which is nothing compared to the trucks today

 

that looks like a custom paint job!
i can't recall if that color was option or not originally

did you get the pad from same Dealer place in Colorado?
I should get me an extra (if available), I have a very small rip in mine that maybe will start growing bigger and bigger and eventually droop all over
