Wasn’t doubting it, but just curious to see curves and possible numbers to look forward to as I will be on the sidelines for a while before I can purchase one of these. Wish I could jump on it sooner, but I am realistically a year away before I can drop cash on this.

The beauty with this product is, it's backed by a large and successful company who continues to develop/refine their product. With HPTuners you don't have to worry about the support ending/going away. And the bonus is, your investment in the hardware can be transferred to a long list of other vehicles should you move on from this platform. Just something to think about. :)

Seeing what has happened with this product over just the past few weeks, and knowing who it is coming from, I wish I could purchase now and join the fun. Not hesitant because I want to see results and dyno charts, that’s just for my viewing pleasure. I’m hesitant because I am in the middle of building a cage for the truck, will need tires before next winter hits (37’s and beadlocks ain’t cheap), and have a wedding to plan and pay for next spring. Hopefully after the wedding I can jump on this and get the truck running at optimal performance. TRD tune is working fine for my minimal mods, but the benefits of speedo recalibration, eliminating certain CEL, the support and widespread knowledge of HPT and the benefit of getting a better tune are something to look forward to.

There will soon be a small army of @JustDSM tuned Tacoma's running around as he sprinkles his fairy dust on our ecu's!

Roost, what's your take on the tune? Did you transition from the Ucon to the @JustDSM tune? Giving this some serious thought. I would love to touch the components that the UCON doesn't.

What's the best way to beg for 2TR-FE support? I will buy one and beta test and log data. It's my only vehicle, but I'll do what I can. I have a laptop just collecting dust.

    Edit: @HPTuners

Tag @HPTuners and post up on their internal forum as well. I think the 2TR platform would be a popular thing.

Maybe start a thread with a poll that asks fellow owners whom would purchase one immediately upon support, then email HPtuners with the results and offer to read or supply your ECU for support efforts?

I fully concur! Even in normal driving with all my mods the truck wasnt as responsive before (largely due to throttle map).
Now it finally feels like I thought it would when I installed the sc.

Toyota could have sold 10× the amount of TRD superchargers if they would have simply made the throttle map more responsive!

Trust me, @JustDSM has made many other changes that have significant impact, but throttle map is most easily felt.
