How do I find measurements to do something like that? Pardon my ignorance.

mine came with all new hardware in the rear only reused front spring bolt. If your using the shackle only without the HD hangers then you might have to get different bushing sleeves/spacers. Pics would help.

Took the truck for a test drive last night after I got everything all finished up. Rides great! While I was riding along I was thinking if the hangers are slightly off from one another, meaning maybe you installed one a little further forward than the other could this cause alignment or wear issues? Or is there not enough play for it to make a real difference? Did anyone ever measure to make sure their hangers were as symmetrical as possible?

I didnt even think of this. I think the difference may be so minute it may not matter too much. Or at least I hope it won't

Well the more I thought about the more I realized I was wrong. We did not adjust the front bolts for the springs and the springs have a centering pin that goes into the axle for a reason. So in theory it could not move regardless of the hanger placement.

If you have the time, could you recommend a cut line for leaf 2? I’m doing my install in April but want to make sure I have all info as I have limited time to do this install. Thanks

Use the 3rd leaf as a guide line to cut your second

I’ve read all 30 pages an only found 2 saying it improved ride quality. The beefiness alone is worth but just curious on others feedback. My setup currently is HD dakars will be using stock shackle an king rear shocks with the addiction of the HD hanger.

Ok thanks for the heads up. One of the stock hangers is slightly tweaked as it is so just stoked to get that resolved.

Did mine on the weekend. I tried the grinding way and drill method on one rivet just to see how it went. It wasn’t cuttin it for me. So we used a plasma cutter, like butta. No rub on new shackle design. 10/10 quality. . 2DED5A34-E7B5-42E8-9ACA-9F54B06480A5.jpg 5C969732-666F-4E05-9D2E-5BB737E67460.jpg

@JLee I know the site says the HD Shackles are on back order. Any guesses on when they will be in again? I know the order said I'll get the email when they ship. Just trying to plan out my schedule to either buy more parts and wait or just put them on when they come in and hold off on more parts.

@JLee Still loving the hangers, they are crazy strong, but i tweaked the passenger side out in moab (bent the frame). are you going to be offer the cross tube? Just seeing if i need someone local to fab it.
