Hey guys, I’m looking for some info. Fast forward to the 22:15 mark of this video, and that plateau where he ends up camping, do I need 4x4 to get there? I have a 2wd off road with falken wildpeaks and front leveled with 5100’s. Any info is appreciated!

Yep, I’ve done that trail. One of my favorite! Did it a couple years ago in my 4Runner in all 2wd with Michelin LTXs. It’s called the Potash Road. It will take you all the way out to Moab. You shouldn’t have any issues unless there’s been heavy rain or something I’m not aware of. I’d suggest going down (not up) for the best views from around the Canyonlands visitor center but not without seeing the arch along the road near the top and checking out the nearby overlook. Happy to answer any questions you might have.

You would be able to do it in 2wd. That entire trail only has 12 campsites if im not mistaken so call canyonlands ahead of time to try and reserve one.

Easy Peasy! I did this route a couple years ago in my bone-stock OR. I did use 4Lo for the gearing going up the switchbacks, but it wasn't necessary. Do it, you will enjoy the heck out of it!

I’m headed west tomorrow, I’ll have to see where this might be able to fit the schedule.

Anyone know how the parks are, open/closed. Can’t come into this state type stuff?
