Safety stickers

Ive seen guys cut velcro to cover them and attach patches. Looks pretty cool.

 

I took my visor stickers off., with heat. Passenger came off clean. Driver side has some residue I can’t get off. I Opps the hell out of it. Any ideas?

I thought I’d just cover with moral patch. But they don’t stick well.

 

Good idea. I might go this route.

Hey guys. Some random dude on a some random forum said it can't be done. Pack it up and lock the thread.

 

What would be cool would be some official looking fake stickers that fit right over and look like the original stickers. Same font and same diagrams, the whole shebang. However the new fake stickers will have obscene and smart-ass wording basically telling you to not be such a pussy and dumbass.

 

GoodGone or GoofOff with a terry cloth will work. GooGone smells a lot better. It might take a couple tries.

Worth the effort, IMO.

I’m still glad I took em off. Passenger side came out clean as can be. There’s just one corner on the driver side that has some residue. If i don’t get it to my liking, I’ll throw on some Velcro backing and patches.

 

I wonder if the visors could be dry-cleaned? The iron on patch magic stuff for boy scout uniform patches comes off with no residue at all if you get the uniform dry-cleaned. Seems like a similar adhesive.

 

My family worked at the local dry cleaners when I was a kid. They'd bring home some over the cleaners. That stuff was definitely industrial.

If GooGone didn't affect the fabric, I doubt that anything at a dry cleaners would.
