No they can't VOID a warranty, do your research. Voiding a warranty and not fixing something under warranty due to shoddy install or A/M parts being installed are two completely different things.

Maybe the way I worded sounded that way.
I don't mean voiding the whole vehicle warranty.
What I meant was not repairing the broken part under warranty due to whatever was installed , abused or shoddy.

I’d take it all off so as not to waste my time and opportunity to have it fixed/ diagnosed the first time if it was me. Everything here is all just speculation including this. Good luck OP hope issues gets sorted out. Pls post the fix . Tnx
    Edit.
From what I learned reading this forums, any electrical install might affect the delicate CAN bus wiring system in our trucks and throw off codes/errors if done improperly. So..... remove everything electrical you installed .

If its electrical they will give you all hell to not work on it. what they can and cant do doesnt matter when youre in the store and they are refusing it and making notes on your vin saying you installed aftermarket parts that have voided the warranty on your electrical components.

if theres anything you can easily remove, remove it and you will avoid a headache.

Sooo, somehow my front bumper collision sensor went bad/ needed recalibration and was covered under warranty. Unsure of how it was knocked off of its calibration, they were unable to specify. Left all lights on and walked out debt free what would have been $170.

This also happened to my '17 recently. The dealer told me that I had a collision recently and I told him no absolutly not. Tried to charge me 170.00 for a zero point calibration. I told him no and he would take care of it. And he did.
