All the appliances belong to the current Tenants. I have my own craptacular appliances that will work fine for now.

I don't want to put a ton of work into the place as it is a temp home, not a forever home. So redo the bathrooms, install new windows, and finish the back room. Then pick away at everything else as I have time and money.

Inspection made the house look even better than I initially thought. Garage is wired for 220v already, with wire size able to handle 40 amps. So just need a new breaker panel in the garage and a 40 amp breaker for the supply. Then insulate the place and throw some better lighting and I will have a wicked little workshop.

Just waiting on the water test to come back good. Moving in August provided everything goes well.

    That's awesome!

Did you get the well flow tested too? When I bought my house the well failed and they had to drill it deeper and replace the pump and pressure tank. Roughly 7500 bucks worth of work, for a 400 dollar inspection (the same people scoped the septic as part of the inspection).

One more peice of the rust free puzzle found!

and Garmin GPS's suck with anything rural, we ended up going down some old logging road for 15km before coming out on the backside of the sellers road, and had to go another 20km down a dirt/mud road before getting to his house. Pretty much we started on the farthest end of the road way out in St.Andrews, and took this road all the way to the other side to antigonish. oh well

FTFY ;) pretty sure we took that same road once only in the opposite direction! Tried to take a shortcut out of Antigonish, missed the St Andrews road by one exit but Google Maps said we could get through. Ended up in a farmer's field lol. He didn't really look twice at us so I figure it wasn't the first time.

Annnndddd then I broke it, like A LOT!

The good news is that none of my welds broke! and that round bar is 1/2" solid steel.

once everything stop deforming, I did manage to pull this off...

its a bit deformed, but If I can get the other stuff to not bend then I think I have a fix for that too.

    Well it is a bender!

You need the flanges where the bars pass through to be tight to one another so there is no bending moment (leverage) on the bar.

    Cool af project

that's exactly what @TacoMitch93 texted me last night! Great Minds....

I did lots of cutting and welding last night and did exactly that. The pivot on the die is as tight as I can get ( ended up welding three 1/4" thick plates to the "ears" ). it was hard to see in the pics, but the little short peice that held the pipe tight to the die was pushed down, so a BFH and some 1/4" angle iron was welded in there. The only thing left is to tighten up at the top. I have the steel to do it, but I have to re assemble everything and see which whats best, 1/8" on each side to keep things center, or perhaps a single 1/4" on one side depending on how tweaked things got.

should be able to button it up tonight and see what breaks next

when in doubt..... make it stout!

    The end result?

    Sucess!
its not a 90 Degree bend, but I think I ran out of stroke on the bottle jack. Also the curve is a bit smooshed, but I think I have a fix for that.

PS: this MoFo is HEAVY... way over 50lbs. It has to be, my toddler is like 45, and he's a featherweight compared to this beast.

@Canoehead called it :/ Kid I bought it off must have done the brakes after he put his winter rims on because I just put one of the RTXs on and the caliper left a nice scratch in the back of it. Anybody running spacers want to buy a set of rims?

They are very cool rims, people were always gathering around my truck in parking lots when I had them on.
