    In a nutshell.....
The 17x8.5’s stick out just past the fender and give you a slightly aggressive stance. You may have to do very slight cutting to the thin plastic of your front inner wheel wells and remove the mud flaps.
The 17x9’s have a much more aggressive stance by sticking out further past the wheel wells. A lot of cutting will be needed as well as most likely a CMC.
    .......I’d get the 17x8.5’s
Here is mine with 17x8.5’s and 285’s

They got super loud after 31k miles. I rotated and balanced them every 5k and my alignment was checked every time, so it was spot on. I just couldn't handle the noise any longer. They still have a lot of tread left too, so that was disappointing. They perform well and all that, but in the end, I could barely have conversations with passengers in the back or on my cell phone, so I said screw it and upgraded.

    Lol I’m broke
Just came in today! Super excited to get them mounted up. Got some 255/85r16’s ordered up... hopefully the rubbing isn’t to bad with the offset and backspacing on the ray’s.

Pioneer Radio, New rear bumper (that does not really count though). Going to be upgrading it more and more as time goes on.
Why did you guys do away with the 16" Ray 10s in Brushed Copper? Did not sell enough?

Overall, our 16" wheels move a little slower.

Looking for some front on photos of 2nd gens with 265/75r16 tires on ray10 16x8 wheels. I'm curious how much the wheel will stick out from the fender with the -12mm offset

I want to order a set in matte gray. Can anyone help me decide which size is best? I have a gen2 with ~2.5" suspension lift and SPC UCAs. I want to run 33s. I'm still undecided on skinny tires vs 285s.

Probably been asked before, but too lazy to dig through 233 pages. Are the SCS rims hub or lug centric? What's the Wt of the 17" SR 8's?

Nevermind 24lbs, hub centric, -10 offset

Looks great thank you! Do you get any overspray from the little amount the tires stick out? Got any side shots?

Here’s some, I don’t get a ton of spray unless I’m offroading through mud or it's raining. I removed the mud flaps and it’s still not that bad
