I just acquired some fox pro front shocks from a 2018 pro with 5000 miles. Planning on putting the on my TRD OR 2016. I wasn’t planning on doing this now but the deal was good.
Question is do I have to do the backs now and if not what should I be looking to find. I have a canopy as well as decked boxes in the back end and tow a drift boat as well. I also do a fare amount of off road running on shitty roads. Any insight or help on the direction I should go would be much appreciated. Thank you

I would upgrade everything at once when you have the funds. Do it once, do it right.

The best solution for the rear, besides matching shocks, will be a new leaf pack especially if you haul and tow; which it sounds like you do. I recommend Dakars.

Make sure to hit up @Tretiak30 for anything you need and when you are ready!!

You don’t HAVE to replace the rear shocks, but a Dakar or Icon RXT leaf pack would help your situation a lot. Aftermarket rear shocks have different extended lengths so find some that meet your needs. You don’t necessarily have to get the PRO rear shocks, but they match and are tuned for each other.

If you are going to run more than 200lbs in the bed (including canopy) all the time, which it sounds like you are the 7-leaf Dakar HD pack may be more ideal.

Given the weight you are running in the rear it should sit nicely

Thank you. I’m a green horn when it comes to suspensions, but I’m learning. Speysquatch, where are u located. Spent 10 years hooked on the Spey/swing game. Had to put it on hold until we get some steel returning to central part of the state.

Nein!! We want the RXT packs from Icon! But I may be biased.
