Should not be an issue. The "Tacoma" GFC frame is essentially the same across the board, with first gens calling for a different mounting clamp. They designed it to fit all Taco beds regardless of year. Luckily Toyota did not change the bed's interior dimensions too much over the years, and the GFC fits all bed years quite well actually.

I wish this was a short bed, or I would be on the road heading your way this weekend.

    Good luck with the sale.

Have you ever opened it with the kayak on top? This is a really good deal since GFC raised the price recently, and an order placed today has an estimated in hands date of August 2020. I think I just talked myself into buying this haha. GLWS!

Kayak on top, no problem. Just have to make sure it clears the truck's roof. The GFC Frame's slotted aluminum extrusion allows for infinite placements of the roof rack bars. As long as your Kayak isn't 20', should not be a problem. Kayak in pics is 14.5'
