Bed rack question.

Sorry if this has already been covered but a search didn't turn anything up. I also posted this in the RTT Owners thread and got no love.

I'm considering making the move to an RTT and looking at going with a mid-height rack. Is anyone running a short bed rack on a long bed? Does it work okay? Look goofy?

Also anyone know anything about the Tuff Stuff bed rack? The price is right and looks pretty solid, plus free shipping.

Any input is appreciated!

 

I don’t see why you couldn’t but it would probably look weird. Have you checked out the mid racks with the popular vendors here in TW. There may be a local vendor that has something you are interested in.

 

There are some great racks produced by TW vendors, unfortunately I'm on a tight budget and most run upwards of $650+ and none are local to me that I know of. I may just have to bite the bullet on the cost of the rack and go with a TW vendor. At least I'd know what I was buying.

I think you're right about the short bed rack on a long bed. It would more than likely look out of place.
