    Plus my Tacoma has burnt valves and the warranty people laughed at me.

    Ouch that sucks. Not good at all!!!!! Well atleast they are paying you to take that 4runner! Seems like a really good deal. Does that one have the KDSS stuff on it? Can't wait to see that build come along as well.

    No offence to you, but this is why I almost refuse to buy any new(er) used car now-a-days. You know good and well the dealer isn't going to fix the burnt valve problem, and they'll pawn it off to some poor sucker who has no idea.

    Really curious why the valves are burnt though. How many miles did you have on it? I'm at 69k, and haven't noticed any difference in engine noise...or maybe I can't hear it due to the loud f'n tires.

    Not going to build this. Can’t justify it while
    Living in south Florida. Give it a couple years and Im moving to Tennessee and then it’s game on for a dedicated trail rig.

    Unless you tear the motor down and inspect it's kinda hard to know exactly what happened unless you nuked them with nitrous or boost. A little extra build up of carbon can cause a hot spot and burn a valve enough to cause noise/power/compression loss on a cycl.
