Looked at a 2019 TRD Pro 6MT this week...and in my 24 hours of haste, it sold. After driving it, I'm now debating on going back to a manual.

Current truck: 2018 TRD Off Road AT w/ Tech Pkg

Potential replacement: 2019 TRD Off Road 6MT w/ Premium and Tech packages

    Effectively a $0 loss...change my mind.

I kinda wish I had a manual. It really just comes down to being a personal choice as each have their own pros and cons, just go with what you want and are comfortable with.

It sounds like you're pretty serious about trading in your AT for the MT so you must not be enjoying it too much? Maybe that speaks for itself and with you not losing any money........just send it?

Yes and no...I love my current truck and have no issues with it...wasn't even looking until a buddy mentioned the "unicorn" Pro in Super White. I had forgotten that a MT is just So. Much. Fun. and now I have the damn bug.

You want the MT. Trading my auto for one was one of the best decisions and trades I’ve ever made.

This truck would be much better as a manual. Go, go now.

Let it sit for a week and if you still WANT it, then go for it. I make a lot of impulse buys...I find it best to wait a few days to make sure I still wanna go through with it, haha.

Explain the zero dollar loss please... are we talking Out The Door total is a push, payments not changing, adding more money down? Did the finance guy add a few dozen months of payments, and they are staying level? Purchased the 2018 used? Can’t calculate how a new 2018 with only tech package, traded for a new 2019 with tech & premium will be an “effective $0 loss”... what does that even mean? We want your secret... I want to trade up in 2020 with a $0 loss...

I think he means his payment will be the same. Standard dealership/salesman "we can keep your payment right where your at."

You can always get the crap AT. You won't always find the MT.

At this point I’d just hold out for the 2020 but considering my 2018 is paid for I’m not trading for nothing lol.

If the money isn't an issue, do it. Sounds like the thought will linger in your mind if you don't and that will eat away at you.
