So I saw this pop up on Autotrader and was curious what y'all would think. If you were in the market right now, had the money, and saw no signs of off roading on the undercarriage and skid plates.... would you consider buying it?

Regardless, it looks like the original owner had to have really taken a bath when he sold, traded or lost this truck which is why I found it interesting. Some nice mods. Hard to tell from the pics but it looks like it might have one of those roll-n-lock style bed covers.

No. Black is too hard to keep clean.

No, that's still more than I want to pay for a Tacoma. I'd say it's still a good market value.

Black is very hard to keep clean, but like you said it looks like the original owner added some nice mods. If the Carfax looks clean and the dealer is willing to negotiate, I wouldn't see a problem with purchasing it.

Yeah I hear that. I've owned both white and black cars and both were very hard to keep looking good for more than a day or two.

Seems to be a uniform "No" consensus so far.

Lost me here in the ad... total misrepresentation..!

“...This Toyota Tacoma boasts a Regular Unleaded V-6 3.5 L/211 engine powering it's smooth transmission...”

About 6 months ago I saw a new Pro on a dealer lot for about 45k and I was shocked to see it so cheap

At the end of the day it’s your money and you’ll be the one driving it. I think the pros are super cool but my taco is our secondary vehicle and couldn’t shell out 45k+ for one. If you like it and have the means, negotiate and buy that sucker.

Just to be clear I'm not seriously shopping and am happy with my Off Road. But I couldn't help wondering if people would think it was a good deal or not though as I am perpetually window shopping.

This ^^^ offer low end of the KBB scale... that’s a fair price for everyone.

What mods did they do? Prinsu rack w light bar, bed cover and the cargo extender, oh and the steps.

No way I would pay that much off the lot for a used TRD pro, 35 tops, the accessories are worth nothing to the dealer as they gave the guy selling it nothing at trade in. Have em tank them off and reduce the price accordingly.

I’ll never do a black truck again. Too hot in summer and too hard to keep clean.
