You really need to get out more if you think that's a sports car.

 

I took this FRS to willow springs, buttonwillow, & sonoma raceway to track days....it is plenty sporty

If a miata is a sports car then so too is an FRS. The term "Sports Car" encompasses so many variants like "Luxury and Exotic" from say Porsche or Farrari we forget about the little guys. FRS and Miata mainly fall under the category of "affordable". Your basic bottom of the barrel sports car. Fun to drive and an achievable track car for the majority of people.

Not so much with the FRS, but with the MX-5 the sky is literally the limit as far as performance goes.

You can have a nice Miata that will stomp on Porches, Ferraris, and Corvettes all day for a fraction of their cost.

Of course it's still a Miata, but once you've experienced an LS3 powered Miata, you'll never look at them the same again.

OP, you should write a hit song about the Summer of 12 (the Bryan Adams song Summer Of 69 was NOT about the year 1969
