    I have a 2007 Double Cab TRD Off Road. I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not the lower trim panel that has the cigarette lighter and the accessory plug from a 2009 Tacoma (with the extra button spaces) will fit on my 2007 Tacoma (it doesn't have any extra button spaces)
    I would like to put in some switches and or USB outlets in those spaces and keep the factory look, but my new 2007 doesn't have those switch spaces much to my dismay.
    :confused::confused:

    How was the install? Pretty easy? I want to get around to doing this as well.

    The install was a huge PITA because in order to swap out the lower center console panel, just about every other surrounding panel has to come out first. Took me at least 1 hr because of that but well worth it!!

    Did you order it from Toyota or from a junkyard?

    WooHoo! That is good news! Do you happen to know the part number for that piece of plastic?

    OK, Follow up to this. Does anyone know if the 2012 Lower trim panel fits previous year Tacomas? I noticed that there is one more space for buttons on the 2012.
