Made this today, I'm going to sell them, 12 dollars without the grip. They come low, medium and high, the one in the pic is low. Medium is an inch higher, high is 2 inches higher than the low one. Also they come in a short grip (shown in the pic) or standard grip size20190420_103330.jpg

Not exactly a glamorous idea, but maybe a quick, "cleaning your Tacoma after an off-road trip" video could be on order. A question that comes up here on TW sometimes on how different people clean their frames, interior, and gear. Maybe some products that help, some techniques, making sure brakes are free of debris for proper function, inside c channel frame hiding spots, etc.

Edit: everyone has done multiple videos on what to check before you head out, but I haven't seen anyone do a post trip check, so maybe things to check for, tires, brakes, air filter for debris, trail damage, leaks, etc.

    A thing or two...
People are going to need a lot more information to give any kind of useful advice.

Are you lifted or stock suspension? If you're lifted, what lift are you running (brand/inches of lift/etc)? Are you running stock or aftermarket UCAs? Again, what brand if aftermarket? What are your alignment specs? When was the last time you had an alignment? Has the truck ever been in an accident?

Definitely make sure you check the rear drums after heavy mud. Packs in there!

Doing a moisture check on my door because yours truely left the window down during a storm last night :/ Everything is fine, but my found that my stock tweeters are almost dead. Time to order some skar audio Spx-t’s to make this system nice and clear.

Oh man can't believe I forgot that, took a whole can of brake cleaner per side and plenty of brushing to get the mud off from the last trip. Plenty of nooks and crannies for mud to hide inside the drums

Saw a guy on here got refused service or warranty or something at a dealership because his drums were full of mud which was a sign of Off Road use.

That's certainly on the video "to do" list. I did a vid for things to check after offroading when your truck is still filthy, but not for cleaning tips.

Probably what I'll get after I recover from buying a pressure washer  (I'm cheap, by necessity)

Update at 8pm.... piston on the last installation will not disengage. I just went and bought a new caliper for front driver's side. Luckily I have a $40 credit at AutoZone, and a core charge of $25 when I take in the old caliper.... cost will be about $65 after that. Of course, that means I'll be changing the passenger side out soon

I put my new KenwoodDDX376BT stereo in today. Was pretty easy after reading the write ups here. Ran the bluetooth mic to right above the steering cover in front of the speedometer display. The sound now rocks in my truck, and no need for now to replace the speakers. Next project is the front brush guard install.
