What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Doing a moisture check on my door because yours truely left the window down during a storm last night :/ Everything is fine, but my found that my stock tweeters are almost dead. Time to order some skar audio Spx-t’s to make this system nice and clear.

 

Saw a guy on here got refused service or warranty or something at a dealership because his drums were full of mud which was a sign of Off Road use.

That's certainly on the video "to do" list. I did a vid for things to check after offroading when your truck is still filthy, but not for cleaning tips.

Installing Duralast GT rotors and Duralast MAX brake pads.
Update at 8pm.... piston on the last installation will not disengage. I just went and bought a new caliper for front driver's side. Luckily I have a $40 credit at AutoZone, and a core charge of $25 when I take in the old caliper.... cost will be about $65 after that. Of course, that means I'll be changing the passenger side out soon

 

After almost a month of being busy I was so excited to finally replace them and upgrade. Told the wife I wasnt doing anything until they were done. 15 min later I was cleaning the house with her

 

I put my new KenwoodDDX376BT stereo in today.Was pretty easy after reading the write ups here. Ran the bluetooth mic to right above the steering cover in front of the speedometer display. The sound now rocks in my truck, and no need for now to replace the speakers. Next project is the front brush guard install.

 

I mounted mine with 1/4” carriage bolts, then a spacer and a wing nut

I’d do it this way if my driveway wasn’t sloped. I do the opposite corners then flip it for the other pair. necessary evil.

 

Sounds like she might’ve sabotaged your maintenance e plan purposely. Does she have access to your AutoAnything account info?

 

Just rotate in the spare and you'll always be +1 tire to move.
(that is if you have a matching one)

 

That’s if I didn’t have a stock spare. Not going to put a Method wheel and BFG KO2 under there until I upsize tires.

 

I'm going stock sport rims and wildpeaks. Cuz I'm cheap and like to party.

 

Outa sight gets no love unless it's functional, i.e. ARB compressor mounted under the hood.. I'm cheap that way.

I'm running stock UCA's and stock coil springs, with Bilstein 5100 adjusted at 2.5" lift.
Don't know if the first owner got an accidentr with the truck.
But this rubbing issue is only on driver side.

 

Restored the step bars with herculiner rattle can, results look much better than before and I like the non skid texture
