2010 Tacoma, new to me

None, but looking for running boards

Apologies to our austral friends.
I will be hauling millwork in the new to me 2010 Tacoma, but I need more tie downs up front.
I am not sure I can loosen the bed nuts with the Star nut recess. So, I am thinking a 1/2” eye bolt thru the bed steel floor with a 1/4” x 2x2 aluminum plate top and bottom, with nuts torqued on down.

Or is there anything else more elegant or tailored? This must be down on the deck of the truck bed - not the sides or the track. I need to tie flat to the floor to hold things down.
