Thanks to TW I spent around 1k so far on some armor, lights, speakers and other few minor gizmos. I stopped counting a while ago... :spending:

Lol. Zero, because I’m a “think for yourselfer”. However “stun guns world” has cost me quite a bit.

I can’t imagine perusing the halls of TW and being influenced by some stumbling concoction designed to shower me while I’m outdoors (a fucking tube full of water) or all the other half assed plans littering the landscape.

    Hmm?

    1999 Tacoma wreck.
$6k to buy, $300 to rebuild and still driving it.

1998 Tacoma. $7k to buy, $2k to rebuild. Drove it 275k before frame rusted thru.

2004 Tacoma. $5500 to buy, 1900 to rebuild. Driving presently. (132,000) on the clock.

Oops, forgot about a transm11ission. $2200 installed with reman with warranty.

Someone else can do the math. It's been 15 years without a car payment.

I saved money because of both the DYI attitude and knowledge, and because I’ve read so many posts from fucking idiots that I’ve learned to take it slow, research quality and functionality and venders.

Oh, yah, I’ve spent a shit-ton too, but haven’t we all opened up the check book for some nice taco.

About 5k currently. That number continues to rise gradually depending on the seasons and the status of my bank account.

So far? None. Soon though? Damn you TW! Already looking at some new tires and a set of Ray10s. Might go for a different grill, not a huge fan of my current stock grill...but not looking to go the route of Pro either.

    Soon....sooooooon. Maybe.

I personally like keeping most of my vehicles close to stock, so TW does not make me spend more money on my truck. A better question for me is "how much time am I on TW". I spend a ton of time on TW because of all the info shared by knowledgeable members. Most of the TSBs describing issues my truck had, I find on TW. Thank you to all the people that have shared helpful information on TW over the years!

I’m about 3k in on my Tacoma but most of the stuff I do to any truck like the bed cover for 1k. I did Learn all about bumpers/winches here so I’m gonna say y’all cost me $1500 for the SSO Slimline and a 10k Smittybuilt winch.

Bought a Avid light bar, OR trims, take off shocks all from TW members. I figure all of the money I've saved from doing work on my truck with the help of TW paid for all of it

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I am am learning to cope with TMS (Toyota Mod Syndrome)

Over the years, my Toyota collection has come and gone. The mods that have been done to all of them have been costly.

I must say I have enjoyed the ride ;)

TRD intake, skid plate, cat back exhaust and short throw shifter. Bilstein 5100 leveling front and 5100 shocks rear. 32” Falken WP AT4W tires on Gen 3 wheels.
Let’s see: $400 for the Pro skid plate, $300 for the body color grill, $400 for Gen 3 wheels wrapped in $700 worth of 32” tires. $100 for the Gen 3 shocks and loaded struts. $800 combined for the TRD intake and exhaust and now I’m lusting after a TRD short throw shifter.
No wonder I get looks like this:50309C15-2743-48E5-8966-CA862E3CC635.jpg
