    Fyi.
Looks like you can prove you have one if challenged.

Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) decal is valid from Sept. 1 thru Aug. 31. Delivery of the decal can take up to 15 days. The receipt from the sale of the decal should be retained with the vehicle(s) until the decal(s) is received and mounted on the vehicle.

Purchased online Apr 1st, still waiting. Sounds like a recurring theme with the new system. Previous years phone order purchases have been much quicker.

I use Trailhead deflators. Same concept, they work great. I've heard the Staun's are fine.

I probably wouldn’t spend the $180 on a CB at this point.

Instead, I’d buy the MXT275 GMRS, and if you really want a CB, this less expensive one:

I need to do more research on the GMRS service i guess, i ruled it out early on due to not seeing many people running it.

I’m curious to see what everyone is running for comms. I have one of those midland handheld cbs, would like to upgrade. Is gmrs what everyone is running these days.

SSB is not my 1st choice, of you want a common means to communicate on the trail.
Uniden CMX760 Bearcat Off Road Series Compact Mobile CB Radio is a fair choice. You can toss it in the console or under your seat.

Cobra 29LX Professional CB Radio is a good choice if you have the room, and can be purchased already modified.
MXT115, 15 Watt GMRS MicroMobile Two-Way Radio is a ready to go bundle.

I use a HAM dual band radio, that can be programmed for High Power legal GMRS . Note. You need a FCC license, but its EZY PZY. No test required.

I will be glad to answer any questions on comms, just look for me or sign up to attend the free seminars on trail comms.

For $180 it better have a dedicated channel for free handjobs

Why the 115? The 275 is also a bundle, and is their newer model.

And why advocate CB, with worse range and voice quality?

Come see me at at Jambo

    CB: Most have one
Midland 115 VS 275. Some prefer radios with controls on the radio, some not. (Tea VS Coffee)
