    Update: bowman lake road is still closed to vehicles at fuller lake. So we just hung out and had lunch and drinks at the day use area. Fishing was dead. But found a snow bunny!

    check your down travel and id bet it tugs on the CV to pop it off.

    When I installed the suspension, I did check the down travel. I am going to have to check it again to make sure it is not causing the problem.

    Does anyone know if there are any better/stronger CV boots out there?

    i just replaced my SDHQ boots for OEMs. id just stick with OEM

    CJV Axles offers inner extended travel boots but I'm not sure about outer boots like you are having a problem with.

    Thanks! I looked at higher angle boots, but those are only for inner boots only. Did a quick search, but nothing is coming up for outer boots. I guess I will just go with OEM

    If it slipped off, you can use worm gear bands, I have the #s at home. They have rounded edges.

    McMaster Carr sells them.
