The intake tubing isn’t that long. I had to cut 4-5” off mine IIRC.

The Dakar's will be here tomorrow. Since I'm going cheap with this "build" I've got extended billies for the rear arriving with them. That just leaves the front which will also get billies I think. The question is what spring? 880 or 881? It's stock weight up front and will never have a bumper. I could also get the #620 Eibachs but they ride a little harsh without extra weight. The other option is Fox 2.0 coilovers. I can get those delivered for 750 or so. Thoughts?

    It runs like a dream.

Lots of holes in the exhaust though. I heard the 4WD actuator clucking, but the manual hubs ate seized. I’ll rebuild them for him I did the same on my truck. The ‘O’ ring likes to dry rot and make it hard to turn the dial. I doubt they’ve been greased in a long long time.

When I rebuilt my manual hubs I replaced the pawl and clutch, ‘O’ Ring, snap ring, hub bearing and race, etc.

priorities brother... priorities - i hear you though. My backyard patio is busted up, patiently awaiting me to get off my ass and either pour it or have someone come in and do it. Will probably be someone else doing it

Not that, just the fact that its unnecesarily on all the time. Wonder if theres a way I could fit a small 12v spst limit switch back there, to turn the light off when the tray is pushed back in.

881 for the springs. then again, should probably pose that Q to OME/Billy owners.

The big thought I have is if you are going with dakars, ome springs, why would you not pair it all with OME's nitrochargers?

I had 881s on 5100s before my Kings. With the v6 xtra cab, I barely got 1.5" of lift with the 881s. I remember wishing I had gone with the 882s instead.

The 881s and 882s are 500# springs though so they ride real nice, my Kings are 600# and without any real front end weight yet they are pretty stiff
