Yes, we got the Alu-Cab one for the passenger side. It's bigger than we expected all bundled up, but it is sweet. Someone asked about passenger versus driver side. We decided on the passenger side since when we pull over on the side of the road, we could deploy it without it going into the roadway. And, I know this probably doesn't make a lot of sense ergonomically, but our dual side-by-side battery is in the front driver's side so the extra weight on the rear passenger side could potentially (in our dreams?) even out some of the weight. And now that we have it, it's also nice that it is sticking out over the curb rather than the road when it's packed up.

Wire pass thru for solar? Anyone have a good solution? Sadly I cannot find this mentioned in here, and I could have sworn there was a post with a pass thru, similar to what was used on boats.

    Losing my mind.

Hey OP I know this is a weird request but would you post that first badass pic in the thread I started of 3rd gen Tacos in front of storms? Trying to get a good gallery going. Sweet build you have there!

I used a couple of these guys, located underneath one of my panels (and towards the edge, so outside of the tent, of course).

Yea I used two of these since each wire for the solar is 10 AWG. Outside perimeter of the lid so that its outside the tent

For people that don’t have a Drifter yet, here’s a pic that shows the outside part of the lid that is outside of the tent. I attached the roof L-track in that same space

Precisely, there’s a small opening in the tent in the front corners of the tent

Edit: kind of a crappy/zoomed in pic, but you get the idea

Haha ya bish! That pic was from before it was wired up. Used one of those hollow stainless bolts to clean it up

Here's a shot of the LED bar wiring for any interested. Slightly bigger bolt to accommodate a 10AWG wire, then grounded it on that exact bolt to minimize the wiring as much as possible.

what are the little clippies (that's the tech term if you didn't know) every one is using to hold your solar wiring down to the roof when routing it?

I used something like this with zip ties:
    https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Backed-Mounts-Nova-Supply-Professional-Grade/dp/B06XNBS6TG

They're available at the big box stores too I think.

Is anyone using a Prinsu roof rack or a different roof rack? I'm wondering what people think of them. I'm looking for a place to store trax and fuel and other stuff I don't access to all the time.
