Have had this baby for 2 years in the back of my 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed. Protected by an ARE shell, and once i received it i had almost every part Linex'd... Its sweet. Super convenient. Holds upwards of 1000lbs fully extended. I cant rave enough about this thing. Probably the coolest thing you can add after putting on a shell. I don't know if I would use this with out a shell, the base board is wood and might warp. The actual slider mechanism and frame are metal. The slide is buttery smooth, especially under a heavy load. Has a very audible click when it's reached one of its three locking points. Great little unit.

Fantastic for bringing contents from the back of your bed right to your hands. I loved it for camping. I actually have tie-downs mounted for an ARB fridge incorporated into the base board. I'll put a picture with the fridge on it. Received so many compliments on this slide over the past two years. I hope someone else can get some major joy out of this thing.

Selling the truck so it's time to part with this Bedslide.
