I did 5100s all around with 885s and a single AAL a few weeks ago.

Love the new ride and stance, but the front has sagged significantly more than the rear. Now rocking a little more than a 2” rake. I’d like to get back to a 1”.

What will going up 1 notch on the front 5100 gain for me?

Should have went with 887s and you get a little sag and you would be right where you wanted to be!

I did 2885s a few weeks ago too and am wishing I would have went up to the 2887s...

IMO if you want to do 885s you are better off keeping the money in your pocket and just swapping your stock coils over to a set of bilsteins.

Bumping up a notch after the 885s have settled should raise you an inch and shouldnt be a problem. The newer springs seem to drop more, my new 887s have now settled to where my old 885s were so I'm considering bumping up a notch as well.

The more you bump up the snap ring the rougher your ride is going to be. You want to get the lift out of the coil, not pre-loading the coil which will in turn make a stiffer ride! If you are going to bump up the snap ring you have to dissemble the coil anyways so might as well just get a set of 887s and then just turn around and sell the 885s and loose a little profit but you'd be happier in the end! Just my 2 cents!

I already have 887s and they're no longer lifting as high as previous so one ring groove up is not going compress them as much to make the ride go from great to an ox cart.

Not interested in buying a 3rd set of springs yet as 888s would be next.
