    Due for front brakes, suggestions?
Stick to OEM or go aftermarket? If aftermarket whats good?

Dealers are saying $115CND + tax roughly for pads

How many miles/km do you have? Seems soon for brakes on a 2017.

get Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors and pads. really cheap on Amazon. been running them for 3 years now. no brake dust, no rust on rotors. pads still have 50%

Worn pads in just over 31,000 miles equivalent. Definitely too soon for my style of driving. Would think they'd last 60.000 miles or more.

Based on your specific results, OEM aren’t going to last very long with your particular driving style... find something heavy duty with a good warranty. Perhaps consider one of those specialty brake shops that offer “free” replacement pads (just pay for labor).

What OP posted. I don't have much experience with the OEM pads so I could be wrong. All the new vehicles I've owned in the past have lasted quite a while. Where you drive and how you drive will play a big role in the wear items.

That's most likely the answer then.

I've been running Remmen Brakes for a few months. So far so good. Their truck pads are little dusty but they're gonna to send me a new formula of ceramic pads to test.

    https://www.remmenbrakes.com/

They're in Canada so this seems like a good option for you too.

They have this coating that helps prevent rust. This pic is from last week and they've been on a couple months.

Im in the OEM camp. I put "low dust" Akebono ProACT ceramic pads on Brembo blank rotors and the dust is more than my OEM pads ever produced. Not cheap AutoZone brake bad, but definetly more noticeable than the OE pads. Only a minor complaint though, stopping power is the same.
