Picking Brake Pads, Rotors, and a Caliper

My mechanic recommended the Duralast brand rotors and brakes (from Autozone) for my Tundra since I do a lot of towing.
He said that was what he put on his truck so that was a good enough endorsement for me.
After I bought them I found out that Duralast was the "official brakes of NASCAR" (if that really matters to anyone).

 

hey all, in a similar situation.

Looking for the best direct replacement rotors and pads on a 2004 tacoma ext cab TRD 4x4.

saw some people post in the 2nd gen thread with some of the options below. Can anyone confirm that these will fit 1st gen trucks?
