    I just need a 35mm socket and a 1/2" drive torque wrench.

As someone who went to school while working full time and still tried to maintain some semblance of a family life - you can do this. It feels good to graduate, and even better to get your evenings and weekends back!

The "more money" part doesn't suck, either.

I did mine a few months back and it was not difficult at all. I just picked up random tools from HF that I did not already have.

    Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I have the torque wrench if you wanna borrow it, and unfortunately I have a 36mm socket I used for my old car which is useless to me now :bananadead:

I did the same. Worked every day and went to school at night and I was married. We had our two kids right away and it was definitely difficult. Difficult but worth it. My wife and I were just kids ourselves but now that we are on the other side of all of that and in stable careers we are glad we did it.

    Hang in there man!

Cool! That's where I picked up the torque wrench a few years back, I don't know if they have just a single 35mm socket. I know that 36mm was a bitch to find but found it at Sears and it was pricey!

I was surprised at how easy that big ol nut came off. I guess I was expecting a ton of torque on it but it was super easy with a longer handled 1/2” ratchet.

Be sure to get one that goes over 150ft-lbs of torque! I believe the spec is 173ft-lbs for the axle nut? Found here...

There is a shop on Bee Creek and Pace Bend Park road, does an amazing job, and full detail is only $100ish. Been trying to see if they would entertain a group discount, for TTC members. So far they havent made a decision, but will post any details once I find out.
