    Hello, I'm new here from Iowa. I just got a 2010 v6 double cab Tacoma short bed base model. It's a work in progress. I'm hoping to eventually build it out to be an overlanding rig.

    Yours is most certainly not a "base model." A base model would have black bumpers and no fog lights...

    Yours appears to be an SR5. Is it a stick shift?

    It was listed as a base model. It does have the SR5 badge... for now. It is an automatic, I wanted it to be an auto because it's my daily and Iowa does have some somewhat tricky hills.
