    I pulled the oversized filter off and cut it open. It had a few slivers and flakes. Not as many as the other, but it only had 800 or so miles. I put on the appropriate sized filter so Toyota didn't try to dick me around about that. Collected an oil sample as well, I'll send it out tomorrow.

    Tomorrow I will pull the drivers side CV and replace it with the other new CV. I'll put the current driver's side CV on the passenger side and see what happens. Maybe I just got a bad CV, who knows? I want to order the ECGS bushing but I don't want to wait for it to come in to do the CV's again. Should I?

    Hey Hover. Thanks for the like. Hope your CV shit starts getting better! Tried to just reserve rooms in Columbia for the "if I graduate" kid - closest I will get is Jefferson City, but that is only a 45 minutes or so away.... At least everything I did tonight is cancellable.
    Also did some research for the SPID trip, and at least found some hotels the wife & I would stay in.... Good night bud.

    I would try that, if it doesn’t work then I would wait for the ECGS. I think you got a bad cv though. I don’t see the needle bearing going that quick but I guess it could happen.

    I know I have a bearing groaning up there. Couldn't say if it's the wheel bearing or the needle bearing right now but the noise in the video screams CV to me.

    I ended up feeling lazy and short on time today so I put the other new CV in on the drivers side, no noise! I'm going to take it for a spin at highway speed to see if the groan is still there. I'll be pumped if it's not but, as I said before, I suspect it's a bearing.

    I'll do the passenger side CV later tonight. Maybe.
