    So far I have a G17, Gen 5, G19 gen 3, G21 Gen 3 and a G26 also Gen 3,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,why so many gen 3? Kommiefornia……………………..

If you are not sure how that relates, google Kommiefornia Gun Roster...…………...but sit down first!

    So here is my question...……………….

I am thinking I want a Gucci Glock

    You know:
    Milled slide
    RMR
    Grip stippled
    Mag well
    nice trigger

Will most likely be a "range Pistol" not my permit. (again Kommiefornia)

So wht is the $$ range to do this beyond the Pistol. Will try to find a Gen 5 G19 more than likely...………………………….which can be pricey in...…..……….the land of the lunatics...…………………..

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Depends how far you go. Stippling is usually about 150-200 with an undercut. Slide is tough, depends if you send out a factory one and then coat it or buy a new one, mag wells aren’t available for gen 5 yet I don’t believe, as the frame has a flared magwell already. Triggers are usually about $150. RMR is a good couple hundred. You’re better off building a gen 3/4 for this kind of project. It’s usually cheaper because you can build from scratch and find premise parts instead of having yours custom cut. That being said, my gen 5 G19 is my favorite gun I own, and I’m building it slowly, but not going crazy.

Here’s my “Gucci Glock” gen3 g19 took me two years from stock to this point. I was patient and bought when I could get a good deal or heavily discounted. BE66D8A3-563C-4574-96D4-490601533667.jpg

Wow that looks awesome. I think the stippling and under cut can be done by me with the supervision/oversight of a buddy who did his....

Trigger job is pretty straightforward, thanks to YouTube gunsmithing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so the RMR and slide work...……………….hmmm so interesting.

Over two years, never had that much patience or focus...……...

This morning I took my G43,G48,G19 and G45 to the indoor range. I am good to go with the G19 and G45, But I can tell I still need to work more with the 43 and 48, My groups are pretty tight but hitting low and left. I need to do some light polishing on both of them.

After getting home from the range yesterday I cleaned all my Glocks. The one glock that I did not shoot yesterday was my G26.
Just thought while I was at it I would wipe it down too.
What I found was it looked like crud on the trigger safety plunger(stock 2007 plunger). After looking closer it looks like the plating is coming off the plunger.

Should I remove and polish the stock plunger? or should I replace it?

I would replace it or play "micky the dunce" and send it back to Glock. They may have had a supplier issue with those from that lot.

Replace, polish up both of them a bit, call it a day. Always worth having a spare.

I wonder if you could strip that then cerakote it or something. It'd be an interesting way to make the thing live again.

You. sir, clearly have a Glock investation problem...……….send the Gen 3 19 since that is clearly your issue and they will stop reproducing. I will lock that 19 in the safe until I gather the funds to turn it into a Gucci Glock for the range...………………………

What can I say! They are built to perfection! All have the same trigger pull and all shot tight groups. This is one infestation I’m happy about!
