Late to the party brah. I’ve had the V2 and now V4’s.

I have the ultimate domes and maps - but they are to bright to be honest. I have the interior lights turned off most of the time.

Hmm, maybe. These are my second set and I’m trying to like them but can’t. They aren’t diffused so it’s very annoying.

    V2 and v4 what?
I like mine the main one is just white the map lights I have switchable and mainly use the red but the white is also good. Just don't look at them and they are great.

    The turn signals

The way his map lights are deigned on the 3rd gen, because they aren't diffused, it's very bright and piercing even in the peripheral vision. It's like looking directly into them, even if you aren't trying. The dome light in the back is extremely bright too. The only time I need a light back there is when I'm strapping my daughter into her car seat in the mornings, but it's far too bright for that.

Like I said, I've tried to like them, but they are just too bright. I may sell them and just get LED bulbs from superbrightleds instead.

They don't bother me but I like light when trying to do things and rarely use the maps.

Yup. I have my CAPM already but it doesn’t hold much value. Salary will definitely go up with PMP and a lot more jobs will open up once I get it. My dad has a connection at Cisco who said he will get me an interview once I get the PMP. Obviously no guarantees but just having the thing opens up a lot of doors. I’m taking the CSPO course in July too

I've been doing more technical my entire career and my company is trying to get me into more PM stuff.

I’m trying to do the exact opposite as you haha. I’m involved with IT projects and I just don’t have the technical skill set. I’d much prefer to stay on the business side, which is why I’m going for the CSPO instead of CSM. I want to get away from the technical stuff. And out of the financial/banking industry.

    Check The Build Thread
Certified PMs with a technical background (and certs (CISSP, SANS, etc.)) in security are highly sought after right now in gov. More than half of the recent bids we’ve submitted for cyber had those requirements. Quite the increase from even a year or so ago.

I've been doing gvmt IT almost my entire adult life. Network engineer, C&A, and Incident Response. Couple Cisco, EC-Council, Comptia, and CISSP certs so far.
