I put mine on last year. I'll be installing a winch bumper and this one will be for sale.

Anyone tried installing this with the front king reservoir mounts in place, would it fit?

Good to know, thanks, I'll have to add this to my list, do you have the sway bar still installed, would that make a difference?

Ah, I missed it. I don't know if the resi bracket messed with the away bar location at all. Thanks

I've installed the ARB recovery point. It was a pain but it got done. Make sure you remember to remove the front frame plug before fastening the bottom bolts and save yourself heartache.

I wanted to confirm that the ARB recovery point works just fine with the RCI front skid plate. The OEM TRD OR skid plate is actually MUCH closer to the ARB recovery point than it is with the RCI skid plate but does not interfere in any way.

Also, the factory TRD OR hook is very beefy. The issue with it is where it mounts. Inside the sub frame are two weldnuts attached to the relatively thin subframe. That's all that's preventing the TRD OR hook from becoming a missile. Maybe I'm only validating my purchase but I'm happy I never had to really use the factory hook.

Does anyone running this thing have a problem with the loss of clearance it creates? I like it, but keep thinking it something I would endlessly stove into the opposite side of a drainage trench or any berm I was trying to climb.

Does it ruin the approach angle?

Does this reduce approach angle? The answer is yes. A small lift would probably fix that. But I hear what you're saying about it sticking into a soft burm or something. Every mod has trade offs, weight and approach angle are trade-offs I was willing to make to have a front and rear recovery point.

Personally I would have liked to see an upward bend in the front of the recovery point but alas there is not.

Does the recovery point touch the King resi mount? Can you post a side pic?

The mount is sandwiched behind the hook. It works have used it numerous times. Had to repaint the hook though, powder coating was flaking off it's now black, thought about red then said nah..

Is it design to be sandwiched or did you just make it work?

No clue if it is designed we made it work. But thinking about it what issue would it cause to the mount? The bolts are snuggled up tight and there is zero.issues and I've done a significant amt if off roading with them there.
