Damn that sucks, I had mine filled in by safelite a few months ago. I have windshield insurance but they had to try to fill it in first before they could just put a new one on per the insurance. I would have rather just played the $50 for a whole new windshield

Safelite seems to have some "secret" deal with the insurance companies - they do very high volume, the work is documented and traceable, and they avoid fraud and deductible arguments. So you mate everyone up, pay much less than deductible, it doesn't go against you. Seems to work!

Here are my thoughts about driving up there as we discussed a couple months ago on this.

Meet up at Buccess in New Braunfels so we can grab Brandi and his wife.

Leave there and take the toll rode 130 up to hwy 79, this will take us up all the way to Palestine

Once there we take 155 out of Palestine up and continue up to Tyler, we will get to cross Palestine lake which would be cool.

Continue on 155 out of Tyler up to Gilmer, which puts us just outside of Barnwell at that time.

This is approx a 5 hour drive and this does not take into account stopping for gas if needed, I know Brandin will be towing a trailer so he will not make it all the way without refeuling.

Now @BuzzMor needs to volunteer that afternoon I believe he said around 4 (trying to remember) so I say we meet up at Buccees by 8am, we can meet earlier if needed, just tossing out a time.

@Mynameisbrandin is anyone else from SA from the other groups coming along, If so I can share this on couple of the FB pages or you can post it. Let me know.

This drive will allow for a nice back road drive without the hustle of cruising the interstate.
