    Both Canon and Nikon are great companies. After doing 100 of hours on research I decided to go with the Canon 50D. I am very happy with it. Good Luck.

    My wife's got an XSi and it's a decent camera. Investing in lenses is really going to stretch out its versatility too. Keep practicing and enjoy!
