Will not pull boat (for Jay) up an incline

Out of the lake or out of his cab?

 

I've pulled out of tons of high grade ramps with no issues. 100% what I do if I run into any problems. Being a manual guy that handbrake is actually a big selling point for me

I pull my 19 foot Duckworth in 2 wheel drive with no issues when launching at the local boat launch here in Everett, WA. My rear wheels might spin out a little bit every now and then in 2WD, due to the pavement being wet. I do have to slap it into 4WD when I'm launching at low tide, it gets a little muddy at that point and it's about a 15-degree incline.

 

I can see in the cab and it is the OP ..

 

It would probably pull better if it was blurple.

2wd automatic + big heavy tires effectively change your gearing from bad to worse. Remember how your truck became gutless when you installed said big tires? This has made your truck worse for towing. Regear and issues will mostly be gone. But still 2wd automatic which is harder to fix

 

Brooooo right?? I was gonna suggest that but only my truck rates the blurple!

 

Edit: Ha you truck is an 08 too, so it works!
