Has anyone used their stock back up camera screen in their rearview mirror?

I have the stock entune navigation system. So, my stock camera displays on that. But, I still have this screen built into my rear mirror that's pretty much useless. I was thinking about seeing if I could hook up a second back up camera for one or both of my trailers to the rear view mirror screen.

Anyone have any experience with this or that screen or anything?

    Thanks

Look for this connector on the fuse panel behind the left side cubby. That is the wiring that will go up to the mirror. You can splice a camera into that if you want

That won't have any affect on the navigation screen and stock camera? Just the mirror screen?

    That's how I understand it

However, I would unplug that connector and then throw it in reverse to see if the cam still works. I don't have a 2nd gen so I can't test this
