Came up on this guy and his family not far off the Potash Road in Moab a few weeks ago. Sunk in to the frame. A Tacoma went down to the frame trying to winch him out. Then a 4Runner almost sunk in trying to pull the Tacoma out. By the time I showed up they were strung far enough out for me to stay on solid packed dirt and we were able to get the 4Runner and Tacoma out with tow straps. The Toyotas all drove around to solid ground about 60 yards out from the JK’s front side and linked up to yank him out. He hit a small bench at the edge of the quicksand and bounced a few feet in the air before hitting dry ground again.

Most recent recovery, one of our own.

Wow...lots of Jeep recoveries in here!!! LOL

    Let me add some more....

Moab 12' going up Widowmaker. Buddy let off the fuel and went hard over. Surprisingly, the only damage was a windshield and windshield frame, dent in the hood that I popped out with my fist, and a few scratches in the armor. He is still inside when we took this picture..LOL!

Iron Chest, Buena Vista Colorado. Yep, that's my dumb ass.

Blanca Peak, Blanca Colorado. We came up on this guy that just drove off the side. Hard to see, but he and this 10 year old almost took a 800' ride down a mountain side. Took 4 rigs to get him out of this mess. Not even a thank you.

Montrose, CO I think this was Cactus II or Calamity. Can't remember. One rig to right him up. Blew an ORI reservoir hose, and destroyed a hood and grill. I had a very humorous CL add trying to sell it. 30 min to get back up and going.

    Penrose, CO Independence Trail System.

Zigged when he should have zagged. 3 guys pushed him back over. 2 minutes to recover, lifetime of shit talking.

Montrose, CO Boulder Canyon trail. Two winches and 10 min. Not a bad recovery.

My good friend Jeff had an oops on the obstacle in my signature. Broke the crossmember off. So coil overs, links, and skins were removed and drove it in front wheel drive.

    Montrose, CO Boulder Canyon trail.

This one was on Iron Chest, Buena Vista, CO. This resulted in a fatality. My friend Jeff ^^^ helped recover this one. The hardest part of the trail is the first 1/4 mile (see my flop on iron chest^^). The rest of the trail is very scenic and easy if you stay on the trail. Very unfortunate what can happen in a split second.

    Carnage Canyon, Buena Vista CO

Two weekends ago, still laughing on how my buddy John rolled his junk. Great guy to wheel with. One winch to recover. JB weld to fix radiator.

Independence Trail system. One winch (mine) to rubber side this Toyota crawler. Broke a motor mount and still wheeled it. 2 months ago.

At least some of these guys are wearing durable pants and boots. But wheeling in the winter with snow in jeans? Then you see guys in Crocs and Flipflops should explain a lot.
