Did you get any photos of your work.
I have an ARE Walk-in door so the above linked setup doesn't work because my door seal is where the guy put his.

I really am aprehensive to drill the bumper until I know something will work.

I have the same ARE MX with the walk in door? Did you ever figure out a mounting point?

I found someone that is working on making one to fit in the right side license plate light. Not sure enough to share who. When/if it gets done I hope to post about it.

I cannot figure out a way, other than that, unless I drill a hole in the bumper. I do not want to do that.
A wire over the license plate is probably cut by the door.
Using the spare tire hole is not a good idea either.

Yeah, I got one. I do not think he wants to make them, but sent me one because he promised.
A camera view at that level is barely usable. I do not like it.

Do you have a walk-in door?

That sucks. I don't. My reasoning for wanting to reroute my back up cam is to remove and repair my tailgate and put up a net temporarily. I want to fix the dents, dings and deep scratches that are driving me nuts. Who knows how long that'll take me haha. Im really bummed to hear that the camera view from that position is terrible. Hopefully I have a solution, I've contacted Bay Area Metal Fabrication and they might have a better option. If you're interested, I'll DM you if i figure anything out. :headbang:

Post here. Not PM. Others can benefit from information.

Making the camera mount is simple. A simple piece of bent metal with a couple of holes. The Bumper position is so low the stock camera is not made to view that position. I am sure one can make a camera to view from the bumper, but not worth the effort to me.
I can see, but it is not optimal. Distorted like a fisheye lens.
